Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with issues of protection of historical buildings and exhibits stored in them. It describes and analyses possible risks related to security of historical buildings. The first part focuses on legal adaptation of building protection, the theory of building protection with the aim on the technical security and the theory of processing a safety expertise. The second part aims at stating and identifying of risks, which endanger chosen representative of historical buildings, the Bouzov castle. The third part represents evaluation of the most significant risks and a proposal of technical measures leading to minimalization of those risks and optimization of the present security.
