Abstract

Financial performance in recent years include the core business activities. The concept of performance is understood as the ability of a business entity capitalize embedded resources into the business. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the financial performance of the company APATOR METRA s.r.o. in the years 2007 - 2012 according to accounting and modern approaches, primarily through economic value added. The first part focuses on the approach of sound financial analysis. The second part is the characterization of the selected company, horizontal and vertical analysis, followed by traditional indicators for the assessment of financial performance, such as earnings. The other part belongs to assess the financial performance of the company. At the end of the assessment of the financial situation of the company APATOR METRA s.r.o.
