Analýza behaviorálních faktorů ovlivňujících investiční rozhodování vysokoškolských studentů

Abstract

The thesis deals with the matter of analysis of behavioral factors, that might influence investment decision-making. The objective of the thesis was to analyze 12 different behavioral biases and heuristics, which might influence the students of VSB-TUO Faculty of Economics. Another objective was to test the hypothesis that students of master degree study are less prone to biases than students of bachelor degree study. The research was done through an online survey with 119 respondents. Next, the rates of responds implying the use of heuristics or cognitive biases were tested for similarity, or the test for dependence of categorical signs was run. The results show that students of VSB-TUO Faculty of Economics are prone to cognitive biases, however the results did not support the hypothesis that students of master degree study are less prone to biases than students of bachelor degree study.
