Dynamika jízdy na okružních křižovatkách

Abstract

This Diplom Thesis focuses on examination of driving dynamics on roundabouts. In the first time, there is described implemantation of the draft of roundabouts in the Czech republic and how is this proposal made in United States of America. Later on there has been done the comparison of fastest vehicle paths, designed on the basis of guidelines WSDOT design manual [3] with the actual path, defined on the basis of space-aerial photographs. The following section deals with the assessment of the speed diferences between consecutive speeds on all related sections of fastest vehicle path for directly passage, the right and the left turn. Later on there is desribed the dependes of the singular fastest vehicle paths on geometric design elements. Then follows the analysis of accidents at selected roundabouts. The final section is the recommendation to use the same or a simile examination of the principal by dynamics driving in building a new roundabouts.
