Nasazení Matrix serveru v Dockeru

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem a realizací komunikačního serveru na protokolu Matrix v prostředí platformy Docker. Teoretická část analyzuje principy decentralizace, architekturu Matrixu a technologii kontejnerizace. Praktickým výstupem je nasazení homeserveru Synapse s databází PostgreSQL a reverzním proxy serverem Nginx. Práce řeší konfiguraci TLS šifrování, nastavení federace a testování multimediální komunikace. Celý proces je zdokumentován včetně analýzy problémů a návrhů na vylepšení systému.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a Matrix communication server using the Docker platform. The theoretical part analyzes decentralization principles, Matrix architecture, and containerization technology. The practical outcome is the deployment of a Synapse homeserver with a PostgreSQL database and Nginx reverse proxy. The thesis covers TLS encryption, federation setup, and multimedia communication testing. The entire process is thoroughly documented, including an analysis of encountered issues and suggestions for system improvements.
