Abstract
This bachelor´s thesis called „Marketing and Management Comparison of Volleyball Clubs“ is focused on the comparison of two volleyball clubs VC Ostrava and VC Jihostroj České Budějovice, which play the highest competition – extraliga. In the theoretical part we define basic concepts relating to the practical part and they are described detaily using specialized literature. In the practical part we dealt concrete clubs, their history, management, sports activities and marketing communication. We made the SWOT analysis of both clubs. We made interview with managers of clubs and compiled the questionnaire for players of the clubs. On the base of research we found out that the volleyball club Ostrava should focus on a change of own management. Volleyball club Jihostroj České Budějovice should focus on gaining new sponsors. We conveyed the recommendation managers of both clubs.
