Abstract
This bachelor thesis is focused on work-life balance analysis in a company. The main topic of this work is work-life balance, which is defined as finding balance between competing demands of work agenda and personal interests in a way, that satisfies both, the employee and the employer’s needs. Following this issue, the changes in labour market will be first described in concern of generations in the labour market, the fourth industrial revolution and the influence of SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Work-life balance will be also analysed in the context of performance management, increasing work productivity and usage of flexible working hours. The main goal of this research is finding key-factors, that influence work-life balance in the company. Secondary research objective is stated as assessing suitable forms of flexible working hours for the company. Questionnaire survey, exploratory factor analysis, interview and content analysis have been used in the research. The key-factors influencing work-life balance were determined as personal relations, benefits, flexibility and teambuilding. The results of overall analysis carried out that the employees consider their work-life balance level as satisfying and flexible working hours have been recommended as the most suitable regime for the company.
