Abstract

The Thesis Title: The Development of Suppliers Relationships Quality at Machinery Organisation. The Thesis focuses on the process of suppliers’ selection and evaluation for mid-size mechanical engineering companies. The Thesis comprises of six sections. The first section describes supplier relations. The second section summarizes theoretical solutions and shortcomings of the purchasing processes. The third section introduces DAS spol. s r.o. and its purchasing practices sample. The fourth section comprises of the common approach towards the supplier selection and evaluation process today. The fifth section presents the creation of new methods for the supplier selection and evaluation process. The sixth section summarizes and assesses the proposal. The Thesis main objective is the creation and implementing of new methods in the process of suppliers’ selection and evaluation for mid-size mechanical engineering companies specializing in custom manufacturing.
