Abstract
The objective of this work was to execute measurements, to propose measures and to evaluate the measurements in order to increase the safety of persons in the selected underground constructions with a view to their threat caused by the defects of lining and especially in the way of the early identification of the defects of lining. As well, I have described in this work possible events of the threat of persons in the underground constructions.
Through the use of the thermal imaging camera I have progressively examined the selected underground constructions and appropriately elaborated the final values. Then I have evaluated the results and created the graphs and necessary tables which show possible risks of selected underground constructions. As well, I have proposed the appropriate recommendations that are supposed to decrease the risks of defects of lining in the selected underground constructions.
As an alternative practical part of my dissertation I have decided to use a numerical modelling by the finite element method with a view to lining. With the aid of the programme GEO5 MKP I have created in succesive steps 2D model of the selected underground construction, assigned the type of soil and also the secondary lining. Consequently after setting of the other coefficients the programme calculated the load which acts to the lining. After setting up of the other displayed processes the programme also depicted the values of pressure, tension and moment that act to the secondary lining of tunnel. In conlusion of the practical part I focus on the ways how to avoid the undesirables defects of lining which could in the extreme cause a threat for persons or possession.
