Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis and evaluation of the financial situation of the selected trading company over time according to the published financial statements. First of all the bachelor thesis focuses on the theoretical definition of financial statements and terms of publication. The published financial statements of the selected trading company are available in the collection of documents. Subsequently the financial statementes are processed using defined basic methods and indicators of financial analysis. The financial situation of the selected trading company is summarized within its development and changes over a period of 5 years based on the results of the analysis. At the end of the thesis, despite the initial loss, the company is evaluated as financially stable and still profitable with potential for the future, but with an unsatisfactory fact regarding the distribution of all profits of past years.
