Abstract

The purpose of the thesis is to investigate the processes in the area of the human resource management, especially the employee selection and adaptation processes. For assessing these processes in a selected organization the survey method has been used, together with the analysis of the current practices of the areas of the personnel work. The objective of the thesis is to suggest, based on an analysis of the current state of processes of selection and adaptation of employees in a selected organization and the analysis of the data obtained from the survey, recommendations that could improve these processes.
