Abstract

Dealing with power consumption issues has been with us since the times of human evolution, when humans began to realize their existence. Both, history and future are still reminding us of this matter as for the industrial revolution, global warming, and termination of oil supply or possibility of restoring many of the energy sources. Since the 20.th century we have been experiencing significant change in attitude towards the energies. We ask ourselves the question “How to decrease their consumption?” The purpose is to cut down the influence on the climate, reduce potential crisis or increase freely available and restorable natural power resources as well as lower the financial costs of their usage. The amount of consumed energy is one of the most financially demanding items of a building. Therefore today, we are following the binding legal enactments and trying to reduce energy intensity of buildings. The aim of the work is to assess a new office building regarding energy intensity, suggest measures to be taken to ensure required status and also suggest the water supply with the rain- and waste-water sewerage. The work includes parts related to construction and architectonical solutions, thermal technical analysis and proposal and dimension of the water supply and sewerage. Drawings and detailed results are to be found in the appendix parts.
