Abstract
The main purpose of my Bachelor's thesis is to introduce vector network analyser R&S VNA ZND8 to a reader. First of all, the reader will be familiarized with division of network analysers and their description. Emphasis is mainly laid on description of SNA (Scalar Network Analyser) and VNA (Vector Network Analyser). In the next part are mentioned parameters of antennas, which can be measured by vector network analyser. Next part of my thesis is dedicated to calibration of vector network analyser with the main focus on describing calibration methods. In thesis are mentioned all calibration processes, which are used in practice. Calibration process OSM (Open-Short-Match) is later on used in practical part of my thesis. The output of thesis is created laboratory measurement, which verifies properties of chosen antenna and graphic operating manual, which describes control and configuration of R&S VNA ZND8 for measuring parameters of antennas.
