Abstract

This thesis deals with the waste mangement of the municipality of Lesná. Waste management is a field that will need to be adressed more and more in the future. The environment is being damaged and climate changes are proof of this. Waste management can be influenced by many factors, such as changes in the law, introduction of new technologies for the production of many various products from which waste is generated. There i salso the problém with changes in the chemical components which these oroducts are made from. These facts influence the ways in which waste is colected, treated and disposed of. Naturally antoher factor is the human one, how we sort the waste, if we do not sort it well, the collection an disposal measures are useless. Since it all starts with us and how we sort the waste.
