Energetická bezpečnost Evropské unie a její vztahy s Ruskou federací

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of the energy security of the European Union and its relations with the Russian Federation. The target of this work is to describe energy security and external energy policy of the European Union, characterize its relations with the Russian Federation and compare mutual interdependence in the energy sector. The thesis is divided to three main parts. The first part contains of general definition of energy security, formation of external energy policy of the European Union in the constitutional documents and the characterization of the external dimension of the European Union‘s energy policy. The second part is focuses on The EU-Russia Energy Dialogue and its institution, achievements or problematic areas of the cooperation. The third part deals with the characteristics of interdependence between the European Union and the Russian Federation in the field of energy.
