Abstract

PODKUL, Marek. Warning and notification system in the Moravian-Silesian region and its possible development. Thesis, Ostrava: VŠB – Technická Univerzita Ostrava, Fakul-ta bezpečnostního inženýrství, 2019, 71 p. The diploma thesis analyses the current state of the warning and notification system in the Moravian-Silesian region in more detail. The theoretical introductory part introduces, to a minimum, valid legislation on the protection of the population, with a subsequent description of the technical and system infrastructure of notification and warning in gene-ral. In the following part, the current state of the end warning elements in the individual districts of Moravian-Silesian Region is broken down in detail by analytical way. At the end of the main chapter there is an economic and time feasibility study in ca-se of the completion of the warning elements at the selected representative. In conclusion of the thesis the possible development and conception of warning elements is proposed, taking into account the possibility of developing mobile applications for mobile phones, including the development of infrastructure and software, using smart elements in the most populated areas of the Moravian-Silesian Region.
