Vyhledání zbytečných konstrukcí v SQL dotazech

Abstract

The goal of this diploma thesis is a design and an implementation of a tool capable of detecting individual constructs in SQL queries and determine over them whether some parts of the query are redundant. The first part is focused on the analysis of problems of so-called redundancy in SQL queries, and which technologies were used to detect them. The second part describes the implementation of individual transformation rules, the way of software testing during implementation and a user manual that introduces the programmer to the tool. Finally, a comparison was made with existing tools.
