Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of occupational safety compliance when working at heights and above free depth, especially in construction activities. The aim of the thesis is to provide an overview of the basic safety requirements and measures to minimise the risk of workplace accidents when carrying out work at height. The thesis highlights situations such as working on roofs, erecting temporary structures, working suspended on ropes and using ladders, and defines safety precautions for each of these scenarios. The legislative framework, regulatory requirements, worker training and the use of technological innovations in the field of safety at heights and above free depth are also included.
