Abstract
The content of this thesis is to introduce the problems of compressed air as the working medium, the issue of pneumatic and electro-pneumatic systems and the design and construction of a recuperation system to reduce the cost of producing compressed air. The work describes the properties of compressed air, the function of individual components used in this work, the selection of suitable industrial components for testing the recuperation system, the design of the recuperation system and the entire electropneumatic system for testing. The work also contains the enclosed program for a programmable controller, which controls the entire testing. Furthermore, this work assesses the constructed recuperation system from the economic point of view and efficiency of individual drives.
