Abstract
Firstly, there is explained the theme of semiconductors. What the semiconductor is, what is its behaviour and semiconductor's light origination. Next theme is general information about LEDs. LED manufacture, features, advantages and disadvantages of using. Deeper examine of power LEDs is next in order. Difference between power LEDs and regular LEDs, its structure and features. Next chapter is dedicated to LED drivers and to construction of concrete subject. Last chapter deals with measuring spectral characteristics of various types of LEDs and its dependence on flowing current.
