Abstract
The diploma thesis Influence of Thermal-Expansion Properties of No-Silica Sands deals with the evaluation of the influence of chosen sands characteristics to the thermal expansion. The theoretical part provides the overview of sands features. The included analysis describes the basic characteristics of sands, theirs production, their typical signs and the application of sands. The experimental part is concerned with the evaluation of physical and chemical characteristics of selected sands, the granulometric analysis, the grain shape and the dilatometric analysis.
