Abstract

This work deals with the analysis of the resulting values of plastometric tests on two types of steel, on the ongoing strain and the restoring processes. Tests were conducted on plastometer Gleebel, and the results were used to calculate the strain rate sensitivity of flow stress and power dissipation efficiency, whose values are brought into 2D or 3D graphs - so called dissipation maps. The first part of this thesis describes the species, conditions and course of plastometric tests and familiar patterns forming processes. A description of microstructural processes including description and importance of process maps. The practical part is devoted to the processing of raw data from plastometer and describes the whole process of calculation. At the end of this proces is dissipation map created in the Golden Surfer program.
