Abstract

This thesis discusses commercial company, its creation, principles, function and usage. Main topic of this thesis is legal protection of the commercial company in czech legal system and especially protection by the commercial code. In the thesis are analyzed two types of protection of the commercial company contained in the commercial code – an absolute protection by provision of § 12 and a relative protection by provision of unfair competition. There are described facts of unfair competition and further discussed legal instruments of protection of commercial company. Then this thesis is devoted to position of commercial company on the internet and applicability of the law in this surroundings. Then in connection with commercial company explains what the domain name is and its types, function and terms of registration. The thesis contains cases of misusaging of commercial company on the internet and suggests possible solutions of its prevention.
