Návrh propojení centra Ostravy s Městem Orlová pomocí vlečkové sítě AWT, a.s.

Abstract

The content of this thesis is in the form of a feasibility study to develop a proposal for the connection of the center of Ostrava and the City of Orlová using a siding network AWT, a.s. using light rail transport (traincar). In the introductory chapters we introduce the brief history of tram transport in Ostrava and the town of Orlová. In the next chapter is a balance sheet over the train traction system in the Czech Republic. Subsequently, the current transport services of the city and the possibilities of its connection to other agglomerations by rail transport are evaluated. As the trawl network consists of a large number of lines, it is divided into shorter technical sections in the next part. Those sections that enable the connection of Orlová with Ostrava are mutually compared in a multi-criteria evaluation. The selected technical section is then further elaborated. It assesses its current technical state and assesses the spatial, geometric and constructional requirements that are necessary for the introduction of passenger transport. Based on the results, a suitable solution of individual structures is proposed, including the design of new stops. The conclusion of the thesis is divided into partial conclusions, which evaluate the individual chapters of the thesis and the overall conclusion with a final recommendation.
