Abstract

Aims of the diploma thesis are vacuum contactors from the view of the market research, familiarization with range of diversity of vacuum contactors made by particular companies and products comparison from the economic and technical aspect. I also deal in diploma thesis with installation of switching operation, brief description of electrical switchgear, switching operation in vacuum, origin and extinguishment of electric arc in vacuum, function and use vacuum contactors generally and general description of vacuum contactors.
