Abstract
The present work deals with the protection of endangered species in zoos in particular through the EEP which focuses the work. Monitor the ongoing work of the EEP at the ZOO Usti nad Labem, Decin ZOO, ZOO Liberec, PZOO Chomutov. The EEP are described and monitored in the period 2006-2010 and selected the EEP is evaluated their success in European populations. The thesis deals reintroduction programs of rare species.
