Abstract
This bachelor's thesis deals with the possibility of creation the communication with the ultrasonic sensor SRF08 and verifying its properties to measure larger distances.
In LabVIEW graphical programming environment is created measurement application to communicate with the sensor SRF08 using card from National Instruments NI USB – 8451. This card communicates with the sensor using the I2C bus.
