Abstract

Goal of thesis is Simulation of transient effects during swiching off nearby short-circuits in High Voltage networks.The first part theoretical part describes different kinds of transient effects from the ones which occur in the most simple DC circuits followed by more complex examples.

Second part of thesis categorizes different kinds of short-circuits with nearby short-circuit description in standalone section.

Third part is dedicated to APT Draw software, from first releases up to most recent versions. This part also contains documentation of my model of swiching off nearby short-circuits. The conclusion of the thesis id summarizes known facts and evaluations and also included suggested real world application.
