Abstract
The subject of this diploma thesis named „Roundabout and Signalized Crosswalk interaction“ is research of the amount of values influencing the traffic behaviour in roundabout area. The primary value that was checked is distance between intersection and pedestrian crossing and especially conditions in which the traffic behaviour is not influenced in roundabout. Within the frame of this work was done research of interaction in real environment and then was created a process of modificated calculation that corresponds with development of vehicle queue. Afterwards was done simulation of maximal queue length with different input data for vehicle input and length of stop signal in PTV Vissim program. Results were evaluated in final diagram named „Determined maximal queue length”.
