Prague Marina s muzeem

Abstract

This thesis resolves urban and architectural design of Marina and museum in area of the former port Holešovice in capital city of Prague in the city part Praha 7 - Holešovice. The area is defined on the eastside by the shore of blind shoulder from river Vltava. Location is determined from the other sides by administrative building, residential buildings and the street of Jankovcova. Final point of this thesis is creating a new modern rich public space, which opens possibilities to spend free time in the new waterfront area, where visitors have a chance to make a contact with water surface. Newly built piers for boats with descent into the water are part of the waterfront. The object of Prague Marina with museum is dominant for this project. Parking for this area is located in underground of proposed building.
