Abstract
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to process a financial analysis of a company providing service and installation of elevators for the period from 2017 to 2021. The theoretical part presents basic concepts, methods, and techniques of financial analysis, including formulas for calculation. In the next part, the analyzed company VÝTAHY OSTRAVA SERVIS s.r.o. is characterized. In the practical part, a financial analysis is performed using information from publicly available financial statements. Vertical and horizontal analysis, net working capital, profitability, activity, indebtedness, and liquidity ratio indicators are calculated. The ROE pyramid dekomposition and analysis of bankruptcy and creditworthiness models are performed. In conclusion, the results of the analysis are summarized and recommendations are proposed that could improve the financial situation of the company in the following years.
