Abstract
This work deals with the EEG signal and his processing. There are described basic types of electrodes, wiring, descriptors, artefacts, clinical EEG, sleep EEG, computer and quantitative EEG. Program for analysis signal was created in MATLAB environment in the GUI. We can signal read and analysed - displayed important patient information from analysed data. Furthermore, we are able to perform various quantitative EEG. The program can view the signal, zoom in, zoom out, move, amplify and weaken display, using colour to describe the cursor, the selected filter type filters with adjustable parameters, perform basic types of investigation such as the power spectral density, amplitude and frequency mapping and coherence mapping.
