Abstract

This thesis deals with analysing the quality of work safety in the coal mining industry. The mining is a relatively dangerous industry, the cases of serious or even fatal injuries are more likely to occur than in other branches. I am trying to propose possible changes in coal mining legislation. In this document because I believe that the risk level of injury can be decreased by applying effective changes in a prevention. It is necessary to learn from the history and previous extraordinary situations. It is also important to prepare a detailed analysis of causes and to apply changes to avoid the recurrence of actual safety riscs. In some cases it is also possible to apply previously verified procedures from other industry fields.
