Abstract

The main object of this bachelor's thesis is microstructural analysis of 42CrMoS4 steel, which includes especially determining of type, size and chemical composition of non-metallic inclusions in accordance with ČSN ISO 4967 standard. For getting more informations about this type of steel has been done a control of chemical composition and was determined a hardness of material by Vickers test. The whole process of individual parts of analysis is detailed described in practical part. The introduction of this work is for completely idea focused on general properties of chromium-molybdenum steels and so on influence of alloying elements or on heat treatment.
