Abstract
This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the competitive environment of sushi restaurants in the local market of Ostrava. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part defines key concepts such as competition, competitive advantage, and methods of competition analysis, with a special focus on the specifics of service marketing in gastronomy. The practical part analyzes three selected sushi restaurants using the mystery shopping method. Based on the results, specific recommendations are formulated to improve services and increase the competitiveness of the restaurant that received the lowest evaluation. The aim of the thesis is to support the development of a marketing strategy and enhance service quality in the sushi delivery sector.
