Abstract

The presented dissertation focuses on the requirements for geodetic works for the preparation of project documentation using the BIM (Building Information Management) method in road construction. The creation of documentation and the BIM model requires higher accuracy, detail, more information about the terrain and this requirement is also transferred to the survey basis for the project. The dissertation contains the compilation and description of the basic requirements for Survey documents for the preparation of information models of road construction. Furthermore, the text of the chapter of the Data Standard of Road Construction (Geodetic data for the preparation of information models of road constructions) for the legislative process of introducing the BIM method in the Czech Republic is prepared. Part of the work is a practical verification of the chapter Geodetic data for the preparation of information models of road constructions on model constructions using mapping by traditional technologies and procedures as well as modern technologies of mass data collection. The usability and applicability of the chapter on PIM pilot projects of contracting authorities will also be verified. The work will be completed based on model constructions and pilot projects by creating an updated chapter Geodetic data for the preparation of information models of road constructions.
