Abstract
The aim of this work is to evaluate the possibilities of using hyperspectral data from the Hyperion satellite sensor. The data were obtained from the USGS website. The introductory chapters of this work theoretically describe hyperspectral data, their physical nature and some of the methods and principles of their processing, especially atmospheric correction. Furthermore, the available software for processing hyperspectral data is compared. The second half of the work consists of a practical exploration of the possibility of creating a hyperspectral cube, the application of atmospheric corrections FLAASH and QUAC, supervised and unsupervised classifications and spectral libraries, all for various types of software, especially commercial ENVI and open source TNTmips Free. In the end, the work is summarized and supplemented with recommendations.
