Návrh rozvoje využití území v okolí ul. Riegrovy, Ostrava-Hrušov

Abstract

The target of this thesis is to propose the development of an area around Riegriva street (social and producting brownfield) located between Stara cesta street, Bohuminska, the railway and Ostravice river. The thesis will propose a new functional usage (with possible spatial solution) with regards to the functions and needs of the surrounding area and in accordance with planning requirements of zoning map.

Results from my bachelor thesis were based on a complex urban proposal for the area around Riegrova street, which was prepared in three alternative solutions. Individual urban designs have different spatial character division of the territory and at the same time various functional usage. One of the proposals was to use the location for a new football stadium. The other two proposals involved the building of mass housing, production and storage facilities amd also a sport complex including a multicultural public spaces. One of the urban proposals is further elaborated and, for this option, schematically resolved technical infrastructure and transport arrangement for the area.
