The presented diploma thesis deals with the behavior of pressure vessels under thermal loading and shot. The theoretical part provides basic information about pressure vessels, such as their division, production and marking. The following is basic information about acetylene, as pressure vessels containing acetylene dissolved in acetone were used for experimental measurements. The next section lists the phenomena that can occur when loading pressure vessels with fire. In the practical part, the results of experimental measurements performed mainly in graphical form are evaluated and analyzed.
