Abstract

My bachelor thesis deals with configuration issues of the central unit for digital and subscriber loop. I focused on basic characteristics and specifications for digital subscriber loop. I´ve analysed DSL realization and its use as well as I´ve compared it with respect to usability of required number of pairs, modulation and other technical characteristics. Another thing I paid attention to was DSLAM and its realization and use. The aim of this work was to stimulate specific connection and settings by means of DSLAM. I applied a Zyxel Ip Express IES-1000 device and Zyxel Ip Express AAM1212 card. Hereby I verified functionality and realization of the central unit.
