Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with hydrogen-based energy storage systems. Hydrogen production and closer acquaintance with this substance, familiarization with history and inventions with this one. Subsequent hydrogen production is described in the various procedures from simple electrolysis of water to the most modern methods, mainly focused on PEM membrane electrodes. Further, this work involves the storage of hydrogen in two states (liquid, gaseous). Another point is the use of hydrogen as a fuel for fuel cells and the subsequent production of electricity and the distribution of individual cells. Last but not least, I focused on other possibilities of energy storage and comparison with hydrogen technologies. And finally, the comparison and practical use ended with the real measured.
