Abstract

The main topic of this thesis is to detect liquid piercing voltage insulators at various electrode spacings and surrounding temperatures. In the first, theoretical part is a brief description of the basic concepts, types and properties of liquid insulators. The second part of the thesis deals with the actual measurement, the recovery results and comparing them with theoretical knowledge. The last part of the thesis is focused on the final evaluation and comparison of results collected with the model simulation of the electrostatic field by means of FEM.
