Abstract

In this Master thesis is shown process combustion of wastes containing mercury. In the first part is the introduction with mercury and impending danger which, based on the physico-chemical properties of mercury, and the description of the waste containing mercury. Furthermore, a separate analysis of the process combustion of wastes containing mercury, metods of its disposal in the purification process, and monitoring of residues after combustion. The practical part is about a laboratory test procedure, a description of the measuring device and the measured results. In conclusion, there is indicated the evaluation of disposal of waste containing mercury in Sita CZ a.s.
