Abstract
In this work we analyze the offer of investment loans in Slovak and the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The second chapter is formed by knowledge about bank loans, which are mainly extracted from the literature. In the next chapter, companies applying for a bank loan and banks, that we have decided to contact on behalf of companies, including specific offers of investment loans, are characterized. The final chapter deals with the assessment of profitability of loans by 3 criteria. We compare the difference of the best investment loans between the Slovak and the Czech Republic and recommend the best loans to two selected companies for their investment needs.
