Analýza dobývaných surovin z lomů Rajecká Lesná, Lietavská Svinná a CHLÚ Lietava-Drieňovica z hlediska využití na výrobu cementu

Abstract

The Diploma Thesis investigates and evaluates samples taken from the locality Lietavská Svinná as raw materials for cement production. First, the selected sites Lietavská Svinná, Rajecká Lesná and protected deposit area Lietava-Drieňovica are characterized from the geographical, geological, geomorphologic, hydrological, hydrogeologic and climatologic points of view. Next, sampling and documentation of the profile are described with detailed analyses. The deposit is formed by rocks of Krížňa and Choč Nappes of Mesozoic age of the Central Western Carpathians. The samples underwent chemical analyses of X-ray diffraction and X-ray fluorescence, and physical analyses, namely to determine bulk density, open porosity and water absorption. As for mechanical analyses, unconfined compressive strength was determined.
