Abstract
The topic of this thesis was Study of Cu(II) Removal from Aquaeous Solution Using Orange Peel and Polypores. Theoretical part deal with present state of solving problematic, characteristic of copper, description of biosorption process and biosorbents. The experimental part deals with modeling of the kinetics of sorption of Cu (II), finding the optimum pH value for most efficient sorption, modeling of adsorption isotherms by Langmuir and Freundlich models. It is better to use Langmuir model because this model has higher reliability of regression than Freundlich. For biosorption process were used granularity <0.5 mm and 0.5 - 1 mm. Orange peel and Fomitopsis pinicola were activated in two different activating reagents with concentration 1 mol/l - hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide. Finding of optimum pH values and modeling isotherms were used orange peel modified by sodium hydroxide and Fomitopsis pinicola modified by hydrochloric acid with a grain size class of 0.5 - 1 mm. Optimum pH = 6 was used for modeling the adsorption isotherms .The orange peel modified by sodium hydroxide is better for removal of Cu (II) from aqueous solution.
