Možnosti využití podpory Evropské unie pro malé a střední podniky v Moravskoslezském kraji

Abstract

Small and medium enterprises represent an important and irreplaceable economic and social role at the European and national level. This significant position is mainly due to the number of small and medium enterprises worldwide and due to their role in providing the necessary competitiveness, social stability, job offers and innovations. The support for small and medium enterprises occures in various forms, which are included in the structures of the European Union and the Czech Republic. The most important form of business support in the Czech Republic is especially represented by the financial resources from the European Structural and Investment Funds. The business development and support in the 2007-2013 programming period is mainly realized by Operational Programme Enterprises and Innovation and Regional Operational Programmes, through which small businesses can implement their projects. The major aim of the Bachelor thesis is the evaluation of selected subsidies for small and medium businesses in the Moravian-Silesian region in the 2007-2013 programming period. These supporting subsidies are Operational Programme Enterprises and Innovation and Regional Operational Programme NUTS 2 Moravia-Silesia. Use of the European funds is evaluated through the analysis of financial and material progress in realization of the European Union structural assistance of these two operational programs.
