Srovnání Linux Server a Windows Server z hlediska administrace

Abstract

The bachelor work "COMPARISON OF LINUX SERVER AND WINDOWS SERVER IN PERSPECTIVE OF ADMINISTRATION" compares two most commonly used server platforms. This comparison outlines the problems of making environs to install an information system. These systems will be compared so that they clearly identify the advantages and disadvantages of administration of these systems, and also of total costs and consequential development of the server. The software solutions consider rather than hardware demandingness is the main gist of the work. The work does not only pursue the operation system but describes basic services and protocols as well. The examples of configuration are attached to these services. The examples too should give the readers a notion about the complexity of administration.
