Abstract

The main goal of this work is the technical and economic evaluation of the operation of a wastewater treatment plant in a selected industrial enterprise. The operator of the wastewater treatment plant has proposed relatively fundamental changes in technological processes at the final wastewater treatment plant in order to increase the efficiency and stability of wastewater treatment processes and reduce operating costs. This work describes the technological processes of industrial wastewater treatment, then introduces alternative treatment options to increase the quality of wastewater discharged back to the recipient, assessing the suitability of chemical reagents needed for wastewater treatment. Based on the results of test tests and cost analysis of individual variants, their evaluation and determination of the most suitable variant of operation will be performed.
