Abstract

Revitalizing measures are currently attaching new importance because there are many sites that were seriously damaged in the past. At the beginning of my thesis I outline a general condition of the area of “Mokrá” stone pit where we can see a new development of wood underbrush on decontaminated areas. In the next part I make an overall picture of flora species diversity by means of monitoring and a long-term inventory. On the basis of these data I evaluate a general condition of watched revitalizing areas. At the end of the process the ecosystem should have wide species diversity again and thus should be very close to the standard condition of healthy nature. Then I suggest the positive way of wood and herb development being as close as possible to the natural ecosystem. It can be done by removing, planting or sowing. At the end of my thesis I propose the realization of future steps that should lead to the uccessful completion of the revitalizing project.
